What is "lomi travels"? What is the meaning of the word "lomi"?

The word "lomi" is originating from Hawaiian language, meaning "to knead, to rub, or soothe; to work in and out, as the paws of a contented cat." It has also close linguistical similarity to Finnish word "loma", which means holiday in Finnish language.

How are the trip reservations and payments done?

First select your trip(s) and then you can make the payment with your credit card. Card payments are made online safely with SSL-secured payment form provided by Stripe, Inc. Our online store uses the international Verified by Visa and MasterCard Secure code authentication services. Lomi Travels does not have access to cardholder data and card information is not stored in our systems. 

What should I wear?

We recommend clothing according to the weather. Hiking shoes are perfect, but you survive also fine with normal walking shoes or sneakers. Beach flip flops or high heels are _not_ recommended.

How heavy are the trips?

Trips are physically easy and you will survive wonderful, if you are in normal physical condition.

What is included?

Round-trip transportation, local guide (guiding language English), all things described in detailed trip info, small snack, wonderful stories and true Finnish nature experiences.

I want to have a private trip, what to do? I would like to have a specific trip on a certain day, but it is not in the schedule at the moment.
